To drive a car in Thailand, you need an international car license complete with a regular driver's license or a car license issued in the Kingdom of Thailand.
All cars are insured under the insurance franchise and are already included in the rental price.
What is an insurance deductible?: This is an agreement with an insurance company that does not imply monthly or other payments. This is a one-time appeal by the owner of the car for certain damages, if an accident occurs, the owner, with the participation of specialists, assesses the degree of damage, if it is lower than the insurance deductible, then there is no point in contacting the insurance company. If higher, then an insurance agent is called to the accident site and a contract is drawn up in which the owner pays the amount of the insurance deductible. There are two types of them, 10,000 baht (not full) and 20,000 baht (as full insurance). The security deposit paid by the guest will be the same insurance for the car. If you damage the car, we will count the damage. If they are lower than your security deposit, then we will simply deduct and refund the difference to you.
